Yellow Website

Responsibile for the daily maitenance design and front-end of Yellow, Menus, Finda and the Whitepages websites. This included adding new features such as ratings and reviews which required the ability to administor the reviews.

The marketing team at Yellow decided to do a small refresh of the Yellow website. At the time the main colour of the website was blue, the plan was to update all the buttons, navigation and some usability - but to keep the blue! I challenged the marketing team with the use of blue in the website as it seemed obvious to me that the refresh should be to align the website with the colour yellow.

My sugestion which involved a similiar amount of time to implement recommended injecting the Yellow into the header and adding yellow buttons as the primary call to action. As part of the short term solution the website would use the blue link colour in the text and image icons. These icons would eventually be upgraded over time to include icon fonts.

My designs show my recommendation to the marketing team, and this was the basis of the current website.
